What's New
Michael W. Grisanti, M.D. recognized as Business First 2012 Healthcare 50 honoree
We're so proud of you!

Yesterday we received a very nice email from Donna Collins, Senior Editor of the Buffalo Business First, to notify Dr. Mike Grisanti of his selection to this year's prestigous "Healthcare 50" list.
To quote from the email:
"... You have been chosen as one of Business First's Healthcare 50, an annual publication that has been honoring extraordinary professionals in the medical field for the last nine years. A special in-house panel chose the winners."
Of course, Dr. Mike's patients already know that he's an extraordinary physician and many also know about the considerable challenges that he's conquered. His dedication, professionalism, talent, and empathy inspire all of us that are fortunate enough to work for him, and we couldn't be more proud!
Please look for the Business First Healthcare 50 issue on newstands April 6th and join us i...
Certified Dexa Techs
Our techs know their stuff!

We've always known that our Dexa techs are the best, and now they have it in writing! With the recent changes in NY state requirements, both Kelly and Pam have completed the ISCD (International Society of Clinical Densitometrists) technologist course and aced the 3+ hour test to receive their professional CBDTs (Certified Bone Densitometry Technologist).
Because the technology and equipment used to measure bone density is considered to be relatively safe (i.e. low radiation exposure), there is no federal requirement for certfication of machine operators. However, New York State has recently begun to require the ISCD certifications, which are valid for three years. When they expire the techs will need to take the test again to be re-certified, insuring that they continue to update their educations with developments in technology and medic...
Grand Opening / Open House
Did you see us on the Channel 7 news?

On Thursday September 22nd we celebrated the Grand Opening of our new Amherst offices with a ribbon cutting ceremony and reception. VIPs in attendance included County Executive Chris Collins, NYS Senator Michael Ranzenhofer, County Legislator Hon. Ed Rath, Town Council Member Steven Sanders, as well as members of the Amherst IDA and the Amherst Chamber of Commerce. The day began with a multi-denominational blessing of the building, followed by a blood drive and free osteoporosis screenings, and then the ribbon cutting at 4pm. Channel 7 sent a film crew and reporter out to cover the event, and we ended up making the 11pm news! A reception followed the ribbon cutting, and our guests enjoyed tours of the building as well as a beautiful evening under the stars in the courtyard that's adjacent to our infusion suite.
Thanks again to all of the people that contributed to the ...
New location!
3500 Sheridan Drive, Buffalo

The doctors and practitioners are in! Today we are officially occupying our new offices at 3500 Sheridan Drive and have moved OUT of our old offices on Sweet Home Rd. Our suite is located in the rear of the building and the patient entrance is on the east side of it (the right side as you face the building from Sheridan). Please be on the lookout for upcoming announcements regarding an open house in the fall and other events that we’ll host on site. And please also feel free to contact us (link to appropriate patient page) if you’d like to come over and take a walk through to check things out. Construction will continue on the exterior of the building, so please do not be fooled by the scaffolding etc. We are seeing patients on Sheridan Drive now! And the picture above shows our architects’ rendering of the finished project.
